Other walls have a diamond pattern in the masonry. Slates on the hipped roof are graduated in size, larger at the eaves. Vertical inset panels decorate brick chimneys with flared tops. The panelled oak entry door is set in a tabbed stone Tudor arch with carved escutcheons and fleurs-de-lys. Also on the front is a through-cornice dormer. The westside is a Tudor-arched open corner porch.
